A breath of fresh air! Good Guys Don't Wear Leather spring summer 2022 means sustainability, high quality, biodegradable packaging, 100% certified vegan materials, and a fair-trade production environment. The made-in Italy collection uses our ten years of experience in vegan materials to produce shoes made to last, which you can count on and perfect for your wardrobe (vegan or not). Beautifully hand-crafted, our premium collection is sure to bring joy to your feet every day.

We traveled to Big Sur to shoot our line of Italian shoes with the photographer Ami Sioux, who has traveled the world and settled down in Big Sur, where she captured the mood of our Made in Italy line for SS22.

Our new collection "Made in Italy" has become your favorite line since we launched the 1st collection in FW21/22. The Spring Summer 2022 is entirely made by hand and with an extraordinary level of detail and craftsmanship.

For SS22, we created new versions of our Vegan chelsea boots and Vegan oxfords that will be here to last and encapsulate of vision for a solid and bright future.

We worked with different hand-crafted techniques, like weaving for the upper part, climb-stitch for the sole.

As always for our SS22 collection, all our materials are sourced in Europe, Eco-friendly, and certified Oeko-tex and Vegan.

Our very absorbent lining is suitable for Spring summer during the warmer months. We selected 100% recyclable and recycled vegan leather made from corn glucose. This material is highly breathable and very absorbent.

For the upper part of our shoes, we introduced a new beautiful color of AppleSkin.

We care about our collections' working environment, which led us to work only with ethical and fair-trade partners, from sourcing our materials to working with suppliers to selling through our resellers.

We dreamt of producing a collection of vegan casual shoes and boots in Italy for a long time. We found what we were looking for in the Marche region, where ancient savoir-faire and traditional techniques are preserved, and factories are small family businesses. In the same region, you can find factories working on different shoe components, which create a local community of shoemakers, sole makers, and material suppliers, reducing distances and carbon footprint.

Our Italian partner respects and values their worker's skills. They are producing hand-made, high-quality shoes with a high level of craft. We developed a close relationship with them, visiting them twice a year and discussing various production matters over calls daily.

We take time to talk with the whole team, understanding if some steps of our developments could be too complicated if our design is sustainable from a different point of view. The factory's family owners are themselves a genuine part of the production process of the shoes.
Having the chance to work close to their family-house and in a fair-trade environment, these workers are happy to contribute to sustainable products. Meanwhile, the balance of work-family is respected. We are also pleased to say it is a cooperation between two women-driven companies.
